CoMo Preservation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization, EIN: 92-3600391. Our mission is to preserve the historic architecture of Columbia, Missouri.

CoMo Preservation is dedicated to promoting the awareness, appreciation and preservation of our historic properties, neighborhoods and landscapes through education, advocacy and restoration.

  • Our goal is to increase our community’s awareness and appreciation of the value and importance of historic properties.

  • Our goal is to encourage alternatives to demolition by providing information to property owners and protecting historic properties through discussion and engagement.

  • Our goal is to support our community by providing resources for historic building maintenance; hosting workshops on historic trades; and selling architectural items salvaged from local historic buildings.

CoMo Preservation’s goals are to:

  • Promote the importance and benefits of historic preservation; 

  • Celebrate the history of Columbia’s historic properties;

  • Empower others to advocate for historic preservation in Columbia;

  • Provide resources to support historic property owners.
