Stroll along with Dianna Borsi O’Brien, author of the book Historic Movie Theaters of Columbia, along a short route downtown and learn about the rise and fall of the downtown movie theaters. Hear about the hidden history that will never allow Columbia’s three movie palaces to show movies regularly. Ponder some questions about the downtown movie theaters and learn some fun facts about early movie theaters. The tour begins outside the Missouri Theatre and ends outside the Ragtag Cinema, just in time for a snack and a movie.
