CoMo Preservation and The District invite you to celebrate the launch of the CoMo Brick & Mortar Project, a new public history initiative highlighting the stories behind Downtown Columbia’s historic buildings.
This event is open to the public. RSVP is requested for planning purposes, and guests are also welcome to join an optional walking tour at noon prior to the event.
The project brings architecture to life through QR-code window clings placed on buildings. When scanned, the codes link to mobile-friendly webpages featuring each building’s history, architectural features, and notable past occupants—making Columbia’s architectural heritage more accessible to all.
Be among the first to learn about the project and the initial six featured buildings that represent the architectural story of downtown Columbia.
Guests are encouraged to celebrate by supporting our host, Wynnsome Tea, where tea and cake will be available for purchase.
This project is partially funded by the City of Columbia Office of Cultural Affairs.
