From brick streets and masonry construction to craftsmanship, materials, and building techniques, discover the what, how, and why behind the bricks that helped build Columbia. Along the way, you’ll see familiar places from a fresh perspective and learn to notice details you may have walked past countless times.
Leading the way is Patrick Earney, a structural engineer by day and historic preservation enthusiast by night. Patrick brings his engineering expertise, curiosity, and passion for Columbia’s architectural heritage to this engaging and hands-on tour.
