Help Shape Columbia’s Historic Preservation Plan

  • Columbia Public Library 100 W Broadway Columbia, MO, 65203 United States (map)

CoMo Preservation is hosting a public input session on the City of Columbia’s first-ever Historic Preservation Plan. Join us in the Friends Room at the Columbia Public Library to learn about the plan, ask questions, and share your feedback before it moves toward adoption.

The evening will begin with a brief overview by Rusty Palmer, Senior Planner in Community Development and liaison to the Historic Preservation Commission, followed by an opportunity for community input.

The final public-comment draft is available on the City’s BeHeard page. Review the plan and submit feedback.

Public comments are expected to close at the end of November. A final draft will then go to the Planning Commission before being forwarded to City Council for consideration in early 2027.

Can't attend? Please submit your feedback online and share the link with others who care about Columbia’s architectural heritage.
