  • Boone Electric Cooperative 1413 Rangeline Street Columbia, MO, 65201 United States (map)

What tools are available to help preserve Columbia’s historic places? Join CoMo Preservation on August 18, 2026 for an educational community discussion exploring the many preservation and recognition options available to neighborhood associations, property owners, advocates, and community members.

This program will provide an overview of local landmarks, historic districts, National Register designation, preservation easements, recognition programs, tax credit opportunities, and other tools that can help protect and celebrate Columbia’s architectural heritage.

Whether you are interested in saving a single historic home, strengthening a neighborhood, or simply learning more about preservation options in Columbia, this conversation will help you better understand the resources available and how they can be used to support historic preservation efforts in our community.
