CoMo Preservation’s First Circa Salvage Sale

On October 31 and November 1, CoMo Preservation held its first-ever Circa Salvage Sale at the Bullpen—and what a success it was! We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this weekend possible and to all who came out to support architectural salvage and reuse.

A Community Effort

A heartfelt thank-you to our volunteers, whose time and hard work made the sale happen. We’re also grateful to everyone who donated salvage items over the past few years and to the property owners who gave us permission to rescue architectural features before their buildings were demolished. Your generosity helps preserve pieces of Columbia’s architectural heritage and keeps valuable materials out of the landfill.

Thank you to Tanner Ott of Alley A Realty for providing the fantastic space at the Bullpen, and to everyone who stopped by, browsed, and purchased an item. Each piece you brought home has the opportunity for a new life—and we’d love to see how you use it! Share photos of your salvaged treasures with us.

Give Salvage a Second Life

Check out the photos below to see some of the items at the sale. We’re continuing to add items to our online store. If you’re looking for a particular piece, contact us and we’ll check whether it’s available. Browse our online store or photos below, make an offer, and help give these architectural pieces a new home!

Get Involved

There are many ways to help Circa Salvage grow. We’re looking for volunteers interested in:

  • Joining salvage rescue missions to gather architectural materials

  • Inventorying and pricing salvaged items

  • Researching and writing the stories behind individual pieces

Stay tuned for an exciting new chapter for Circa Salvage in 2027. We’re building on this first sale and looking forward to more opportunities to rescue, reuse, and share the stories of Columbia’s architectural heritage. Sign-up for our newsletter for news and updates.

CoMo Preservation is devoted to helping homeowners, landlords, and institutions prevent the destruction of historic architecture. Original period styles might be replicated, but will forever lack the social history of authentic structures. The preservation of historic places and spaces gives people a sense of place and boosts Columbia’s economy. You can get involved by becoming a member, volunteering, signing up for our newsletterattending an event, ordonating.
