Historic Window Restoration Presentation & Workshop June 12 & 13, 2026

We are so grateful to Marie Taylor, owner of True North Preservation, for sharing her knowledge on June 12 during a Historic Window Preservation Presentation and during the June 13 Hands-on Workshop. We learned about the history of window construction and that historic windows were made to last and are “infinitely repairable.” With proper maintenance, they can be as efficient as modern ones. On Saturday we practiced the proper technique to repair windows including how to reglaze a window. We even learned how to open up a window frame to find the broken ropes for repair.
