1901 City Hall and Jail wins state preservation award
Columbia’s first City Hall and Jail take the State Preserve Missouri Award. The building is at 107 N. 9th St., and now houses Endwell Taverna on the first floor and offices on the second floor.

Deb Sheals of Columbia receives state honor
Deb Sheals, a historic preservation consultant headquartered in Columbia, received Missouri Preservation’s most prestigious award on April 29, 2025. Missouri Preservation is a state nonprofit dedicated to preserving Missouri’s cultural and historic resources.
