Join us for a hands-on research workshop at the Boone County's Recorder Office designed to help you uncover the story behind the places you care about! Bob Nolte, Recorder of Deeds, will begin with a guided overview of how historic records are organized, indexed, and accessed—including maps, directories, deeds, and other local resources. After the introduction, participants will have time to explore records on their own. Please bring the names, addresses, or locations you want to research.
This event is free but reservations are required.
